Before
In my final 2 years at Stetson University, I conducted Herpetology + Invasive Species research while also serving my peers as both a Biology and Writing Teaching Assistant. After receiving a B.S. in both Biology and Chemistry, I was privileged to help my community as a veterinary technician in gold standard animal hospitals for over 2.5 years. While managing animal hospitals, I learned full stack web development through the part time, remote bootcamp 100Devs. I built multiple projects individually and in cross-functional teams and successfully delivered websites to multiple clients. After graduating the 100Devs, I went back to my roots. I began writing regularly and started a LinkedIn series called "Posting until I'm hired". I began teaching again through mentoring and career coaching. Pretty quickly, I got my first tech role as a Founding Engineer at a startup. That didn't last very long, so I tried it again at another startup... and that didn't last very long either. Ahh, startup life 🤷♀️
Now
Now, I'm a software engineer at Clerk. For a majority of my time at Clerk, I've had sole ownership over the Clerk Docs. Now, I'm leading a teammate! I also like to help out other teams where I can to gain more product knowledge and bond with my Clerk family. 💙 For me, people come first. As a BIPOC LGTBQ+ neurodivergent Woman in tech, I'm passionate about supporting others, especially those from underrepresented groups. My experiences in adversity have helped me gain profound perspective and fathomless empathy. Outside of tech, I'm a huge music connoisseur with an affinity for electric guitars. I love going to live music events with my rave fam. I also enjoy reading about philosophy and Roman history, cooking, lifting weights, and watching anime.

Mindfully
Mindfully is a full stack application that encourages users to improve their mental health through mindfulness and journaling.
Coming from an incredibly adverse childhood, I have had to learn how to cope and also how to manage BPD and Autism. The art of mindfulness and journaling has saved my life. This was the first full stack application I ever created. My favourite features are the calendar that helps users visualize their entries on any given day, and the ability for users to create their own prompts for their entries.
Reversah
Twitch streamer and Faze1 Top 20 Prospect, Reversah, offers custom-designed Valorant merchandise, as famously seen on tik tok. Popular customers include Tiffae, TenZ, Kyedae, and C9 Annie Dro.
I single-handedly redeveloped a multi-page ecommerce website from scratch by translating 18 Figma design prototypes into over 10 responsive and accessible web pages with Shopify, JavaScript, Liquid, HTML5, and CSS3 (client’s choice of tech), resulting in a quarterly increase of 248% in total sales, 102% in conversion rate, and 100% in returning customer rate.
Seize The Day
Seize The Day is a full stack application that helps users organize their day, mindfully.
One of the ways I manage anxiety and organize scattered thoughts is by creating lists and tracking my tasks. I enjoyed taking my time to explore Material UI and figuring out how to abstract and organize more complex components, like sidebars and modals.
AdminMe
More than a dashboard; AdminMe includes three fully interactive data tables, a functional calendar, and four different chart types for displaying analytics.
Creating this dashboard with React was so fun because I got to work with so many different tools and libraries, such as Mui X Data Grid, FullCalendar, Formik/Yup, and Nivo. This project definitely showcases my love for design and React.
CSS Generators API
The CSS Generators API provides a directory of efficacious websites that generate CSS design elements.
I found myself scrolling through a huge bookmarks list of generators, trying to figure out which one was the one I needed. Now, the generators are searchable by keywords, such as 'svg' or 'background'. Also, the listings have website previews so that you can visualize a site without having to traverse it.
Portfolio Template
A notably interactive portfolio with tabs for different sections of projects, widgets to reveal the author's story, a skills section, and social media links.
Funny story, someone actually completely stole all of my GitHub README and entire portfolio repo, and the scandal got a lot of attention on LinkedIn. After that, I had many developers ask to use my portfolio as a template so I created this portfolio (the current site you are on) for my use and gave this template to the community!
